For this month, we're going to go through the Intro to 5S program for the suggested workouts. This is a great refresher if it's been a while since you've done the program, or a great time to jump back in if you need a reboot. It's also a great time to add in a supplemental workout if you've been wanting to try something new. This program is designed to build a solid foundation of balance, flexibility, core strength, cardio health, and functional fitness that will make all future workouts better and help you avoid injury. The workouts are short (30 minutes max) and do not require any equipment. There is no reason you can't do this!
The program has 2 workouts for each phase. If you are using it as your only workout here's the schedule:
Each phase for one week (do each workout twice for a 4 day schedule alternating 1,2,1,2) or pick your favorite workout to do a second time for a 3 day schedule (1,2,1 or 1,2,2) until you get to the Stretch Phase. For the last week of the month, do each Stretch Phase workout once then move on to the Final Phase (combining Stretch and Final in one week).
If you are adding in an additional workout, do each workout once and add in your supplemental workout for days 3, 4, or more.
